Vehicles
If you have a full size 4WD vehicle, then this event is perfectly suited to you. The most popular vehicles on our trips continue to be Toyota Landcruisers, Ford Rangers and Toyota Hiluxes. Land Rover Discovery and Defender models also appear regularly, as do the occasional Amarok and Navara utes.
The 2024 rally will use many dirt roads to traverse outback Queensland. These are often the only road available. There may be occasions when we recommend you reduce your tyre pressure (for comfort and safety). If you are unsure if your vehicle is suitable, just get in touch with Peter and he will let you know. If you current vehicle is unsuitable for any reason, you could always hire a 4WD for the week. Most of the big hire companies have suitable vehicles (usually mine spec. utes or wagons) that will do the job without breaking the bank.
Most of our rallies in the outback have been suitable for AWDs and SUVs, as well as very well prepared 2WD rally cars and this year is no exception.

About Us
The idea of running a car rally to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation was first contemplated by Ross Alexander back in 2015. Ross was a Prostate Cancer survivor and a member of the NSW Board of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA). He is both an experienced rally participant, and consummate fundraiser for many causes. Together with Peter and Trish Fehon, Ross has organised the first three rallies that have raised well in excess of $500,000 for Prostate Cancer research. Ross has set himself a personal target of $1 million. Ross continues to be involved as the PCFA representative on the annual organising committee.
