Fundraising

We are very particular about how fundraising should be conducted. We believe that everything should be transparent. You can confidently donate to the Prostate Cancer Rally knowing that 100% of all money you raise goes directly to the Foundation, to fund vital research. The Foundation has engaged FUNRAISIN to handle all transactions on their behalf. Funraisin is a standalone platform used by leading non-profit organisations to run their online and community fundraising.

You simply set up a page with your own details under our banner, and share the link with your friends and colleagues. You’ll be surprised how quickly you can reach your fundraising target, by sharing the link on your social pages.

The minimum fundraising target for the rally is only $1,500, so it’s not out of reach for everyday people. The rally is for everyday people, not just the big end of town. You’ll be surprised how quickly a bunch of $20, $50, $100 and $200 donations can add up to at least $1,500.

Of course, you don’t have to stop at $1,500 and there are many ways to boost your fundraising efforts. Some ideas include:

  • Getting Corporate Sponsors
  • Selling Advertising Space on your vehicle
  • Selling handicrafts or chocolates
  • Running Trivia Nights
  • Cooking BBQs at Bunnings or Harvey Norman

There are plenty of innovative ways to create a bit of interest and raise a few dollars for this great cause.

All participants are covered by an “Authority to Fundraise” issued by The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia to Peter and Trish Fehon trading as Charity Car Events Pty Limited
