About Us
Prostate Cancer Outback Adventure Rally
The Outback Adventure Rally is more than just a road trip—it’s an unforgettable journey through some of Australia’s most spectacular and remote landscapes, all while raising vital funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA).
Designed for people who love adventure, camaraderie and giving back, this fully organised five-day rally takes participants along iconic outback tracks, through historic towns and across breathtaking scenery that few Australians ever experience.
Whether you’re travelling in a four-wheel drive, towing a camper trailer, camping under the stars or staying in comfortable accommodation, the rally is about far more than the destination. It’s about the friendships you’ll make, the stories you’ll share around the dinner table, and the satisfaction of knowing every kilometre helps support men and families affected by prostate cancer.
The Outback Adventure Rally welcomes first-time participants and seasoned adventurers alike. With carefully planned routes, organised meals, unique experiences and plenty of time to enjoy the journey, all you need to do is turn the key and embrace the adventure.
Adventure. Mateship. Purpose.
RALLY DIRECTORS:
Peter and Trish Fehon are the Event Directors for the Prostate Cancer Rally, and they leave nothing to chance when planning or running an event. Peter has participated in many rallies since 2005, and together with Trish, has been organising rallies since 2014. Peter and Trish work on the formula “Make it fun, and they will come”. The success of the first three rallies, along with subsequent rallies for Beyond Blue, is proof that the formula works, with nearing $5 million raised in total.
The idea of running a car rally to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation was first contemplated by Ross Alexander back in 2015. Ross was a Prostate Cancer survivor and a member of the NSW Board of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA). He is both an experienced rally participant, and consummate fundraiser for many causes. Together with Peter and Trish Fehon, Ross has organised the first three rallies that have raised well in excess of $500,000 for Prostate Cancer research. Ross has set himself a personal target of $1 million. Ross continues to be involved as the PCFA representative on the annual organising committee.
